No.14 Wesley Walk is a café and restaurant that fits smoothly into Witney’s town centre pace, offering a spot where locals come for both a relaxed coffee break and a well-rounded meal. Located on Wesley Walk, it draws a steady mix of early risers grabbing quality coffee and those settling in for a laid-back lunch or casual catch-up.

The atmosphere here balances a stylish, contemporary interior with a welcoming, informal vibe. Large windows create a light, airy space perfect for people-watching without feeling exposed, which makes it a comfortable spot to linger whether you’re catching up on emails, meeting friends, or enjoying some solo time. It’s the kind of place families with young kids can manage without stress, thanks to attentive staff and a flexible attitude to children’s orders.

The food menu leans on approachable, fresh dishes with a few standout items like pork belly and arancini that hint at a kitchen comfortable with mixing comfort foods and more refined flavours. The breakfast options cater to those who prefer traditional favourites like full English breakfasts alongside a handful of modern twists such as smashed peas with chilli and poached egg on toast or Welsh rarebit. Lunchtime choices are generous, ranging from garlic and chilli prawns to steak and ale pie, as well as lighter salads and hearty fish and chips, accommodating different hunger levels and tastes.

Much of the local buzz centers on the coffee, notably the Fire & Flow blend, which earns praise for its smooth cappuccinos and flat whites that feel like a genuine treat. The café’s relaxed vibe combined with friendly service, often led by the owner, makes stopping by a casual, pleasant experience — ideal for weekday mornings or a weekend catch-up.

Visitors who favor a diverse menu will appreciate the wide range of options, from baked Camembert sharing plates to innovative toasties and wholesome oat-based breakfasts. The kitchen’s consistency in quality and service seems to have quickly made it a reliable spot for varied groups, whether friends sharing small plates or locals popping in for a solo brunch.

In short, No.14 Wesley Walk invites locals and visitors looking for a layered experience that works just as well for simple coffee runs as it does for relaxed, hearty lunches. It’s best enjoyed during quieter off-peak times if you prefer a calm environment, but it still holds enough energy to make busy weekends feel lively yet comfortable.

Delicious food and amazing service! Convenient location and stylish interior. Great diverse wide menu all freshly made something for everyone. Flat white (Fire & Flow Coffee) excellent! We had Mac and cheese, baked Camembert, tuna melt, corn beef hash, frittata, sausage bap and Brie and bacon toastie and every item was very good. Highlights were corn beef hash and Brie toastie. Service was very warm, genuine and friendly. A few outdoor table which helped as we had two dogs with us. Would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved No.14 Wesley Walk. The food was delicious, the service exceptional and the atmosphere was wonderful. We enjoyed it so much, we bought one of their fabulous-smelling candles to bring the experience home with us. We're already looking forward to heading back there soon

I was very happy to visit this new café / restaurant on its 2nd day of opening (I did try yesterday, but it was packed). I had been here once before when it was Hackett's, but don't remember that too well. I was greeted by the owner, who displayed the perfect blend of good old-fashioned courtesy and friendliness. He did his best to find me a table, despite my being alone, and this was achieved pretty quickly. As he also shares my love of houseplants, this made a further good impression. I first ordered a coffee, and it was superb. Not sure how they managed to make the froth pattern last right to the bottom of the cup, as that is something I have never seen before. Onto the food, I ordered the pork belly. The waiting time for this was the right side of it feeling like it was cooked fresh, and not being overly long. The presentation was great, and the meat itself melted in the mouth, served as it was with creamy mash, cabbage, gravy, apple sauce, and the cherry on the top - crackling! The waitress was wonderful, smiley and with a great sense of humour. Unfortunately they did not have my chosen dessert, so I had another coffee instead, which I am sure was as good. I did not leave a tip this time, as it is discount week, and the payment system was new to me, but it would have been deserved. A memorable visit, and I cannot think of anything negative to say, which is sad, as I am likely making it even harder for me to get a table next time!

We took our 3 children (all under 4) for lunch. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It wasn't overly busy and had a lovely vibe inside with big windows that gave a good view for people watching without feeling like you were on display. The food options were good and we all tried something different. We were told to pick anything off the menu for the kids and they would make a smaller portion or tweek it for us. This was great as normally there are only highly processed food options for them. The food was delicious. We even asked for a box to take the unfinished wraps home. They had a deli counter which looked very enticing. Dog friendly and wheelchair accessible. I will definitely be popping back either for sit down or for drinks and bites off their takeaway counter. A lovely find!!

Have been here several times and it is still one of my favourite places in Witney. Whether it's just for coffee (which is always served piping hot!), lunch or breakfast this place just doesn't disappoint.

We had such a great lunch today! The restaurant had an amazing menu, so many yummy options my husband and I shared three plates – still a great deal. The sauce on the prawns was divine! Plus, they had awesome soft drinks, coffee & beer! Something for everyone. The staff where super friendly, and the place was gorgeous. We're totally going back!
